This car has a 2.1 liter four-cylinder engine driving a 4 speed manual transmission with an automatic hydraulic clutch. It has a hydraulic system that powers the suspension, power steering, brakes and some other stuff. It has no rust, lotsa miles, a leather interior (front seats need replacing) no air conditioning and inboard front disc brakes.

It has an adjustable ride height system for cruising (low height) and around town (higher settings) and the highest height for changing a tire. The rear quarter panels can be removed with one bolt and the front quarter panels require the removal of three or four bolts and a wire connector prior to removal.

At some point we’ll have to re-do the front seats, back seats will get reconditioned, carpet needs replacing – but still have not found any. Stay tuned.

Only you could find a french made car without rust in Washington ! You should take off one of the wheels and drive it thru town that would freak people out ! Very very cool though , i really like the color hope you keep it the same. Was it the hydraulics that drew you to this car ?Are you nostalgic for those old DC 4s ? cool steering wheel and dash , In the picture with the left rear qtr panel off is that a mud flap forward of the wheel? your car makes me want to watch the movie scare face again.

Yeah, it’s a mud flap, plenty of very clever engineering on this old boat. Bad new tonight is a couple of bent pushrods, stuck valves – so time for a valve job. No big deal, I’ll do the carb and radiator and belts and stuff at the same time.

Definitely keeping it same color, this car is totally original, I will eventually put the original Decellier alternator back in. In original condition with no rust- google it, they ain’t cheap!
